GEWES invests in higher energy efficiency

We strive for sustainable and efficient use of resources and underline our commitment through our environmental and energy management certifications.

Against this background, we have converted two factory workshops to LED lighting. As a result, we save approx. 150,000 kWh of electricity per year compared with the previous lighting; that's almost 80 tons of CO2.

In addition, we have integrated our compressor station for compressed air generation into the heat recovery. This now supports the heating and hot water supply of our canteen.

These projects have been supported by the ERDF as part of the promotion of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in enterprises.
