Energy management certification and renewal environmental management certification

The last year initiated preparations for obtaining the energy management certificate according to ISO 50001 has now been completed with the successful audit in early July.

GEWES obtains besides the newly issued environmental management certificate ISO 14001 the energy management certificate according to ISO 50001.

The new processes will help GEWES to identify and use new, even more target-oriented potentials to raise energy efficiency. Steady improvement of our energy balance means less emission of carbon dioxide. That is not only a relief for our environment but let’s us optimize our manufacturing processes, by searching further possibilities for saving energy consumption.
